With a sugarlove taste from “Alice”, Tate Britain and Tate Modern brings “Cake Britain – A Fairtrade Mad Artists Tea Party“, headlining as the worlds first ever edible exhibition. It reminds me how sweet can be the simple things of life. Or, how we are consuming everything in peaces/pills, as cupcakes, tracks, datas, tweets, IDs… The knowledge is a patchwork.
“Cake Britain” is sponsored by Tate & Lyle Sugars and is based on Mad Artists Tea Party‘s interpretation of the meaning of “fair”. It will feature food art from David A Smith, Jellymongers – Bompas & Parrm, Crumbs & Dollies and Lily Vanilli.
All of the exhibits will be for sale with proceeds going to Richard House, We Make Peace and the Fairtrade Foundation. From 27th August until 29th August. Click here.
