With a sugarlove taste from “Alice”, Tate Britain and Tate Modern brings “Cake Britain – A Fairtrade Mad Artists Tea Party“, headlining as the worlds first ever edible exhibition. It reminds me how sweet can be the simple things of life. Or, how we are consuming everything in peaces/pills, as cupcakes, tracks, datas, tweets, IDs… The knowledge is a patchwork.

“Cake Britain” is sponsored by Tate & Lyle Sugars and is based on Mad Artists Tea Party‘s interpretation of the meaning of “fair”. It will feature food art from David A Smith, Jellymongers – Bompas & Parrm, Crumbs & Dollies and Lily Vanilli.

Reading about the future, I discovered some questions and answers that can change the anxiety to be there. After all, to be able to understand the future, you must know the past: what has taken us to where we are today and what has changed along the way. A breeze of naïve techno-optimism sounds better now.

We need the unexpected, even when your private life can be watched by the neighbourhhood, as shows the japanese architect Shigeru Ban with his 1995′s Curtain Wall House: an elegantly spare two-floor block of open living spaces with billowing white curtains around that can be opened or closed to regulate the degree of transparency (and privacy) between interior and exterior.
